Nearly 2 years later there is still no xpub support. In the meantime there is a newer option „silent payments“. Maybe you go directly with that: https://bitbox.swiss/blog/understanding-silent-payments-part-two/

Hmmm, not good for privacy giving my xpup out of my hands....

Deleting used adresses (Wallets) would work for my needs.

When using a Hardware Wallet Like bitbox, you can create multiple "Accounts" / xpubs. Therefore you can ensure that you only provide a 21btc specific xpub, Independent of your "Main Wallet". 
Actually all xpub allowing Services i know have the restriction, that the First address needs to be untouched in Order to maintain security.
I Like creating a Wallet via bluewallet,for instance, and Share the xpub of that. AS a certain amount ist reached,i send that top my Hardware Wallet.
When doing that, you Always have a certain BTC liquidity and are quite flexible and Anonymous...
